Who I am and my background

Hello, coaching is my passion and true self-expression

Alongside my coaching role (MA Coaching and Mentoring), I have senior lecturer role teaching paramedic and nursing students at a pre and post graduate level. My initial professional background is in nursing and I still work as a triage practitioner within the community. I quickly found that supporting patients and staff leading to their progression and recovery was something that gave me fulfilment. I focus on building confidence and resilience, enabling people to look at what is important in their lives and to be empowered to progress and make lasting changes. I have had success with my coaching and have published in this field. I am also in the process of writing a book on how coaching can be used in the everyday sense. This could be in the areas of reducing stress, taking more risks, being more decisive, sleeping better or moving forward in education or a job/career progression. Other areas of life that I have supported people through include establishing better communication and relationship skills, more self-expression and an overall improvement in wellbeing. Ultimately my personal fulfilment is realised in witnessing individuals experiencing themselves becoming more confident and self-assured, experiencing more opportunities and experiencing life as a choice and not a constant reaction.

The benefits of coaching and why this could benefit you

I personally experienced and benefitted from coaching nearly twenty years ago, and was able to overcome personal challenges and frustrations by firstly altering my mindset and behavioural patterns through guided questioning and conversations with my coach. Through this process, I transformed my confidence and ability to create and choose my life in relation to my career, relationships (family, friends and personal), setting and achieving ambitious goals, having more fun, full self-expression and generally not being stopped or limited by the past. I have created variety in my life on a work and personal level, and generally experience more balance and fulfilment in my life. Do you experience being stuck or stopped in an area of life, or think to yourself there is something better? Perhaps you want to take the next step at work, or change careers or jobs but not sure how? Perhaps you have struggled with aspects of work such as time management, motivation, organisation or communication, or find it hard to say no at times and end up being overwhelmed?  If the areas and situations resonates with you, I would welcome the opportunity to coach you over a period of time (mutually agreed), so that you can achieve in the areas that are important to you and experience a different version of yourself going forward
